We have an exciting opportunity for a GP who is looking for a supportive and professional clinic that prioritises training (clinical and MBS), professional growth, exceptional nurse & admin support, technology and culture.
Hours flexible depending on the candidate. The right doctor will be one who has a focus on high quality clinical medicine and wants the support and remuneration to make this possible.
You may be:
VR unrestricted GP, or if you are restricted we have the option for after hours appointments, or, as a university teaching clinic, the option to discuss teaching exemptions.
About the practice:
Port Melbourne Medical is a GP-owned, private billing inner-city practice in a great location near the beach, shops and cafes. We have pathology on site. Nurses are trained to support the GPs, and optimise chronic disease management. We have high nurse to doctor ratios. Admin support is also extensive, with 2 practice managers to ensure consulting doctors can focus on the job they’re trained to do.
There is in house MBS training which helps to provide excellent clinical care as well as ensuring compliance. Processes and protocols are regularly reviewed to provide GPs with extra medico-legal protection.
There is a great team culture with doctors often providing second opinions and clinical conversations. We have regular education in house. With full private billing and support you can expect very high hourly billings. We have a number of software solutions and are happy to have a confidential discussion about what you can expect.
