Victorian GP Registrars Workshop
Mercure Ballarat – Hotel & Convention Centre
17- 19 May 2024
Connect with like-minded peers and experienced doctors as you dive into clinical skills, case review, consultation structure, and more. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the foundations of general practice and learn how to better serve your patients.
GPRA and Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) have partnered to present a tailored workshop to support general practice registrars from across Victoria.
This workshop is open to general practice registrars who work in Victoria in private practice in MM 2-7 locations, or work in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation or Aboriginal Medical Service in MM 1-7 locations.
Participants may be eligible for a State or Federal Government subsidy administered by RWAV to cover this event (accommodation, travel and workshop fees). GP Registrars are encouraged to register their details so eligibility for a grant can be assessed.
The workshop will include access to GPs and Medical Educators, practical advice and sessions on clinical skills, case review, clinical reasoning, consultation structure, communication skills and techniques and understanding the foundations of general practice.
This is an opportunity to network with your peers and experienced doctors working in Victoria to share information, advice and perspectives – and to build your professional skills and knowledge in general practice.
Limited places available.
