My employer has offered me a contract that offers a minimum billing cycle of 5 weeks not 4, do I need to accept this offer?
The NTCER outlines your minimum employment terms and conditions
Still have questions?
Registrars may negotiate their employment terms and conditions and are not obliged to accept any offer of employment.
Schedule A of the NTCER provides that a registrar’s salary will be calculated at least once every month. This represents a minimum standard that GPRA and GPSA have agreed upon and should be observed by employers.
You should request that the employer amend this part of the offer so that it accords with the minimum standards in the NTCER.
Compliance with the NTCER is an important factor for practice accreditation as well. If practices offer non-compliant contracts to registrars, this should also be raised with our College either directly or through GPRA.
