Notice of GPRA Annual General Meeting (AGM)

We are pleased to advise you of the upcoming annual general meeting of the members of GPRA.

At the meeting:

Members will have the opportunity to hear about GPRA’s operations and finances and speak about any items on the agenda.

At the meeting, members will be asked to:

  • accept the minutes of the 2023 Annual General Meeting
  • receive the 23/24 Annual Report including the auditor’s report
  • receive the Annual Financial Statements
  • ratify the TWO elected directors
  • ratify election of the President-elect
  • Consider and ratify the following special resolutions (Section 11 GPRA Constitution):
    1. that all director remuneration be reinstated to where it was pre-reduction (2022/23) and that it will be backdated to 11 May 2024, then, if endorsed by members, a 2% increase will also be offered to Directors from the AGM date
    2. vote on proposed changes to GPRA Constitution:
    • 12(g) That if a retiring director seeks reappointment, then clause 11.3 applies (Board approved 3/8/2024)
    • changing clause 20(c) of the Constitution to read “The term of the President is limited to two (2) years only.

How you can attend

By videoconference

You may participate in the 2024 AGM by videoconference at the date and time specified in the Notice of Meeting.

Notification of your intent to participate by videoconference should be advised to the Company Secretary by email at enquiries@gpra.org.au no later than 12:00 noon (AEDT) on Friday 15 November 2024. A Zoom Meeting link will be provided prior to the Annual General Meeting.

By Proxy

If you would like to appoint a proxy to attend the meeting on your behalf or to nominate the Chair of the Meeting, this can be done by completing and signing a Proxy Form and sending it to the Company Secretary by:
