I don’t believe I have been paid correctly? What steps should I take?
The NTCER outlines your minimum employment terms and conditions
Still have questions?
If you think you have been underpaid, you should discuss this with your employer as a first step. You should explain why you believe you have been underpaid and try to resolve the issue directly with your employer. If you do not feel comfortable raising the issue directly with your employer, you can seek support from a person, organisation or association of your choice including but not limited to, GPRA or your Registrar Liaison Officer.
If you are unable to resolve the issue directly with your employer, then you should follow the dispute resolution procedure set out at clause 18 of the NTCER. Registrars may also wish to contact the Fair Work Ombudsman or a lawyer for assistance.
