General Practice Registrars Australia (GPRA) is hosting a Forum for NT-based GP Registrars at the Novotel Darwin, 100 The Esplanade from 5-7 September 2025.
Bringing future NT GPs together for education and peer support exchange.
The purpose of this event is to provide NT Registrars with additional education, cultural safety knowledge, and peer-to-peer support.
By the end of the Forum, participants will be able to demonstrate improved general practice knowledge.

Who is eligible to attend?
To be eligible to attend to the forum you must:
- be registered as a member of GPRA (membership is free)
- be enrolled with a GP training pathway within the NT.
Cost
Please note: Cancellations made without a legitimate reason may incur cancellation fees for travel and accommodation. Once flights and accommodation are booked and confirmed, any schedule changes will be at the attendee's expense.
The Forum will include a special Celebration Function held on Saturday 6 September 2025, when we will announce the successful NT 2025 Scholarships recipients.
The scholarships being announced at the function are the:
- Ada Wilmadda Parry Aboriginal Health Scholarship
- Dr Debbie Stach NT GP Registrar of the Year Award
- Professor Alan Walker Paediatric Scholarship
- GPRA NT Rural and Remote Scholarship.

The forum will take place at the Novotel Darwin CBD.
All forum-related travel, accommodation, registration and meals will be organised and paid by GPRA prior to the event.
GPRA is unable to cover the cost of travel for your partner, spouse or children.
