Navigating the Medical Profession: A guide for newly fellowed doctors

You’ve recently Fellowed, now what do you need to know? This webinar is for you, led by a recently Fellowed GP who will share the lessons learned on the journey so far. Everyone’s journey is unique, and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed at times. This session aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to navigate the common challenges and pitfalls that you may encounter.

- You’re now a Fellow: understand the administrative process and learn what updates are necessary
- Seeking expert advice: discover who to turn to for guidance on financial, accounting and legal matters
- Professional development made simple: learn about the requirements for continuing professional development and how to meet them

Dr Daniel Mogg is a general practitioner, medical educator and adviser. He graduated from the Australian National University School of Medicine and Psychology in 2018 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024. He is the Medical Education and Training Advisor with GPRA and also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Australian National University School of Medicine and Psychology. Prior to this, Dr Mogg worked in various policy and program roles in the Commonwealth public service, and has a background in psychology.

She is a director of the AEIOU Foundation, past president of the Medico-Legal Society of Queensland, former director of Queensland Doctors’ Health Programme, and currently a member of Uniting Care Human Research Ethics Committee.
