Discounts and GPRA grants available for AIDA cultural education courses

To celebrate National Reconciliation Week, the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA) have teamed up with GPRA to offer registrars discounted registration and grants to its cultural education courses.

AIDA is offering GPRA members a 10% discount on AIDA’s online Cultural Awareness Course and RMA24 Cultural Safety Workshop. This means:

• $202.50 for the online Cultural Awareness course (a saving of $22.50)
• $1,386 for the face-to-face Cultural Safety Workshop at RMA24 on 22 October in Darwin (a saving of $154)

Note: If GPRA members opt to attend the face-to-face workshop, the online course is included as part of the pre-learning.

How to enrol

• Cultural Awareness – Online Training course

1. Go to AIDA Cultural Awareness Online Training
2. Scroll down and click on enrol now
3. Enter your chosen email and create a password
4. Enter the coupon code GPRA2024 and press apply to generate the 10% discount
5. Go back to the homepage.
6. Click on the orange cultural awareness course log in tab and enter the username and password you just created.

• RMA24 Cultural Safety Workshop (CSW): Currently the RMA24 CSW events page only has registrations at the full price of $1,540, however if GPRA members would like to register for the discounted price, please email culturalsafety@aida.org.au and AIDA will provide an invoice for payment.

Special promotion: GPRA Cultural Education Grants (up to $500) available

GPRA has Cultural Education Grants available for GP registrars who may wish to enrol in AIDA’s Cultural Safety Workshop at RMA24 in Darwin on 22 October.
