The new Scholarship aims to:
- Support registrars to consider and train in remote locations (MMM6-7)
- Develop cultural competence and help registrars understand remote health service delivery, community culture and challenges,
- Support pastoral care aspects of registrar remote placements by connecting registrars with mentors and peers.
- Strengthen NT remote primary healthcare by enabling GP Registrars to complete their training in remote communities, through financial, cultural and pastoral support.
