GPRA Advisory Council meeting and networking dinner in Darwin, NT

GPRA recently held their first Advisory Council (AC) meeting for 2019 in the Northern Territory.

This meeting was generously hosted and supported by NTGPE. Registrar Liaison Officers (RLOs) from all RTOs along with registrar representatives from various general practice stakeholder organisations are members of GPRA's Advisory Council.

The GPRA AC meetings provide an opportunity for peer support for RLOs and are a productive forum to consider issues of importance for GP registrars and to provide advice to the GPRA Board and CEO on these matters.

You can find your RLO here.

A fantastic networking event in Darwin

In conjunction with the AC meeting, GPRA also hosted a networking dinner for GP registrars in Darwin and the surrounding areas.

The networking dinner was a chance for NT GP registrars to meet GP registrar representatives from across Australia. Present at the dinner was GPRA President Dr Sama Balasubramanian, GPRA CEO Dr Andrew Gosbell, and NTGPE RLOs, Dr Simone Liddy and Dr Jeffrey Sia.

GPRA thanks NTGPE for supporting our very productive Advisory Council meeting and this successful networking event. We look forward to hosting further networking events across Australia in 2019 and beyond.
