We support more than just GP registrars. Our networks further the specific needs and long-term goals for the healthcare of all Australians.
We have specialised networks for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registrars, medical students, and prevocational doctors.
Run by students for students, the General Practice Students Network (GPSN) is a network that provides you with opportunities to develop your skills in general practice, to shape your future career as a general practitioner and to have fun and meet people.
The Future General Practitioner (FGP) network is for Junior Medical Officers (JMOs) that ensures general practice does not fall off the radar during their hospital training.
The Indigenous General Practice Trainee Network (IGPTN) provides professional and cultural support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander GP registrars, such as organising workshops, study groups, mentoring opportunities, plus offering training and employment advocacy.
GPRA is the only national independent organisation run by GP trainees for GP trainees. We provide the next generation of GPs with free support, advice and resources. We act as your voice and your advocate.
There are two medical colleges in Australia through which you can obtain GP fellowship.
New rates are applicable from the commencement of
Term 2, 2022.
