GPRA and Avant Mutual Chief Medical Officer, Dr Michael Wright, host an online workshop to address challenges facing GP Registrars

General Practice Registrars Australia (GPRA) is excited to announce roundtable webinar on 23 July 2024 for the General Practice community.

This free workshop aims to provide a platform for GP registrars, new-Fellows, and all future GPs in the training process to discuss the main challenges and opportunities within general practice training and the profession at large.

The workshop will focus on:

  • Understanding the primary challenges and opportunities identified by GP registrars and training bodies.
  • Discussing issues faced by GP registrars and emerging supervisors in training, and exploring ways multiple organisations, including Colleges, medical indemnity providers, and Primary Health Networks, can enhance the registrar experience
  • Delving into funding issues and discussing preferences for salary models and experiences with the Single Employer Model.
