Annual Registrars' Forum
General Practice Registrars Australia (GPRA) is hosting a Forum for NT Registrars at the Novotel Darwin CBD Hotel, the Esplanade, 6 – 8th of September 2024.

Bringing future NT GPs together for education and peer support exchange.

The purpose of this event is to provide NT Registrars with additional education, cultural safety and peer-to-peer support.

 By the end of the Forum, participants will be able to demonstrate improved general practice knowledge.

This event is funded by GPRA.
A $50 refundable deposit is required to secure attendance.

Who is eligible to attend?

To be eligible to attend to the forum you must:

  • be registered as a member of GPRA (membership is free)
  • be enrolled with a GP training pathway within the NT
  • pay a refundable deposit of $50 to secure a spot (all travel, forum meals and accommodation will be covered by GPRA)
  • complete a traveller profile form (supplied during application process).

Please note: Once your flights and accommodation are booked and confirmed if you want to make any changes you will be responsible for additional costs.

The Forum will include a special dinner event held on Saturday 7 September 24, when we will announce the successful NT 2024 Scholarships winners. 

The four scholarships being announced at the dinner are the:

  • Ada Wilmadda Parry Aboriginal Health Scholarship
  • Dr Debbie Stach GP Registrar of the Year Scholarship
  • Professor Alan Walker Paediatric Scholarship
  • GPRA Rural and Remote Scholarship.

Important details

Applications open 21 June–16 August 2024

Return flights, accommodation and catering for registered applicants will be organised and paid by GPRA prior to the event.

GPRA will not cover the cost of travel for your partner, spouse or children.

Further information will be made available as registered applicants progress through the application process.

Itineraries will be sent to each person by 30 August 2024.
