In light of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria, GPRA has sought advice from the RACGP regarding their contingency plans for the written exams to be held in July.
The Victorian Department of Health has issued specific guidelines pertaining to the delivery of Medical Specialist exams during periods of COVID-19 restrictions, essentially stating that exams can proceed provided specific COVID precautions in place. The RACGP is working with their exam vendors now to ensure all these safety guidelines can be met. They are also communicating regularly with all other state Chief Health Officers and Health Departments to assist in contingency planning.
The RACGP will be providing updates on their website with the latest information for upcoming exams. Current information on their website is mainly targeted to AGPT applicants in relation to the CAAKT exams scheduled for the 15-17 June; however, communications pertaining to the July AKT/KFP exams are being developed and will be updated on their website in the near future.
All exam candidates are encouraged to regularly check the College website for the latest updates.
