Exam candidates see patients and conditions all the time which can be modified into suitable exam questions.  Writing a case can help you prepare for the exam and learn.
The GPRA clinical case writing template is based on the RACGP Clinical Case Proforma.
This can be viewed by RACGP members from their website http://www.racgp.org.au/exam
Registrars are invited to write cases for the OER website based on the GPRA clinical case template.

For a limited time, GPRA is offering FREE PRIZES to case writers:
For 3 eligible cases - I shuffle
For 5 eligible cases - I Pod Nano
For 7 eligible cases - I Pod 20GB
For 10 eligible cases - I Pod Video

The GPRA clinical case writing template has 3 sections:
Section A: Instructions and Information about the scenario and history to be given to the exam candidate role player
Section B: Instructions and Information for the patient role player/Examiner
Section C: Information for the Examiner/Facilitator role player. This section should be used for feedback and group discussion on completion of the role Play.

If you wish to contribute to this resource Click here to download the instructions and Proforma

The text in blue is a guide for case writers. Case writers should use cases they have developed themselves which can be based on their own clinical experiences. These cases SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO REFLECT PAST EXAM CONTENT. Actual past exam cases are copyrighted to the RACGP and will not be used if there has been a clear breach of Copyright.
