GPRA’s membership is open to all interested stakeholders. If you have an interest in General Practice issues, then you can become a GPRA Associate member. This membership is FREE and can be very useful as it allows you to keep abreast of General Practice issues. In addition GPRA offers associate members access to a country-wide network, via which you can receive peer support and career guidance through our various products and services. And, very importantly, you lend your voice to the peak national representative body for General Practice Registrars.

- Access to the member only area of the GPRA website
- Monthly Enewsletter and quarterly mail-out which contain articles on a diverse range of topics relevant to GP training, and keep you up to date with GPRA activities
- Opportunities to become involved in GPRA and other national committees.
- Access to your very own peer support group via the Alumni list server (for alumni members only

Eligibility
Whether you have previously been associated with GPRA or not, you're eligible for GPRA membership. There are two main categories open for membership.
Alumni
To join as Alumni you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Been a past member of the GPRA or the NRA; or
- Completed the Australian General Practice Training Program as established in 2001; or
- Been a GP Registrar in the RACGP training program prior to 2001; or
- Have been awarded the FRACGP or FACRRM in the last 5 years
Associate Member
All those who are not eligible to join as Alumni can join GPRA as an Associate Member.
