General Practice Student Ambassador:
Elina Gourlas <gpsn.usyd@gpra.org.au>
I'm a 3rd year at USYD. Prior to life as a Med
Student I was a Registered Nurse and have continued work in a busy ED
while I'm studying. I love the idea of General Practice as a career - it
is flexible, interesting, diverse and is the patient's first line in the
health care continuum. I was thrilled to become a part of GPSN and am
eager to see what we can achieve as a group in 2008. Outside of Uni, I
love spending time with my friends and family, catching the sun at the
beach, listening to live music, supporting the Dragons in the NRL and
eating good food and drinking good wine.
