Hi I'm Paul the GPSA at Notre Dame Fremantle, just starting 3rd year. I've been around a bit over my 46 years having been a Police Officer and Investigator for over 20 years, then undertaking RN training and now doing medicine. A family man with a loving partner and 4 kids ranging from 24 to 9, I love to spend my rare free time entertaining family and friends. In regard to medicine, General Practice is my passion, a career as varied as you want to make it and one where you become a part of your patient's lifes. You can't ask for much better than that in my opinion. GPSN is in for a big year and I hope to play a part in helping other medical students see the sometimes hidden value in a general practice career.

I'm currently a second-year Meddo at Notre Dame Fremantle. Before med-life, I did a Bachelor of Medical Science at Curtin University. Shortly after, I was fortunate enough to find a job working in Pathology departments in various public hospitals all over the state, from Kununurra in the north to Esperance in the south and everywhere in between! It gave me to opportunity to travel and experience parts of our own "backyard" that I would not have otherwise seen, and get paid at the same time too. If I had to describe myself in only a few words they would be: huge music nerd. You can usually find me listening to, or out at pub watching bands that no one's ever heard of. Sadly though, my own guitar-playing talents are virtually non-existent!
