GPSN Schwartz First Wave Scholarship Program offers an opportunity for medical students in their first or second year to experience General Practice under the guidance of a dedicated General Practice Preceptor.  

GPSN Schwartz First Wave Scholarship Program offers the following opportunities to interested students:

• General Practice Placements
• Academic General Practice

The Program allows medical students to embark upon an experience of General Practice that is both positive and inspiring.  The benefits of the General Practice experience will be supplemented by structured exposure to affiliated allied health services, reinforcing the growing importance of the multidisciplinary approach in patient care.

The GPSN Schwartz First Wave Program offers an opportunity to meld the General Practice experience with a scholarship’s prestige and exposure to areas that are in specific need of Australia’s future General Practitioners.
